AI response review and removal policy

How to report an AI response, what our reviewers examine, and what happens next.

Last updated 25 August 2026.

What you can report

Signed-in users can report a saved AI response directly from the response menu. Available categories are harmful or dangerous content, sexual content, harassment or hate, illegal activity, privacy or personal data, misinformation, and other concerns.

What a report contains

Swurl sends the reported response, its model and thread identifiers, the category you choose, and any optional note to our restricted administrator review queue. Do not add passwords, payment details, health records, or other unnecessary sensitive information to your note.

How we review

We prioritize credible threats, child-safety concerns, exposed personal data, and instructions likely to cause immediate harm. A reviewer considers the response in context, the selected category, applicable law, Swurl's terms, and the serving provider's safety policy. We may test whether the issue can be reproduced without exposing the report to anyone who does not need it.

Possible outcomes

  • Resolved or removed: we may remove stored content, restrict a workflow, adjust safeguards, suspend an account, or notify the relevant provider.
  • Dismissed: the response did not violate a policy, could not be reproduced, or lacked enough information.
  • Escalated: urgent safety, privacy, or legal reports may be referred to appropriate specialists or authorities where required.

A report does not automatically delete a user's thread. Users can delete their own threads or account at any time. If we remove content, the administrative record notes the decision without publishing the response.

Timing and appeals

We aim to review urgent safety and privacy reports promptly and other reports within five business days. Complex matters may take longer. To add information or challenge an outcome, contact Chris@m2dev.io and include the report identifier shown after submission.

Accuracy

AI answers may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or fabricated. Independently verify important information and consult a qualified professional for legal, medical, financial, safety, or other high-impact decisions.

Privacy and retention

Reports are visible only to authorized Swurl administrators. Reporter identity is removed if the reporter deletes their account. We retain the review record only as long as reasonably needed for safety, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and improving safeguards.
