One prompt. Five image models. Pick the one that gets it right.

OpenAI, Google, xAI, Black Forest Labs' FLUX, and Stability AI, from one workspace and one credit balance. Run a single provider for a focused result, or several at once to see how differently they read the same prompt.

How it works

Four steps, no configuration screen.

1

Describe the image

A plain-language prompt — the same one every provider you select receives, so the comparison is fair.

2

Choose one provider or several

OpenAI, Google, xAI, FLUX, and Stability AI. Select one for a focused result, or several to compare their interpretations side by side.

3

Set the shape

Square, landscape, or portrait; standard or HD; and how many images to generate per provider.

4

Keep what works

Every generation is saved to the workspace. Reopen it later, download an image, or report one that should not have been produced.

Providers

1–5

Typical cost

8 to 48 credits per image, depending on provider, quality and aspect ratio

Best for

Exploring a visual idea, or working out which provider's style actually fits the brief

The honest part

What it does and does not do.

Comparison here works the same way it does everywhere else in Swurl: one prompt, sent to every provider you selected, with the results shown together instead of one at a time. Providers do not always finish at the same moment, and none of them is obliged to read a prompt the way another one does — a literal request to one model can come back stylised from another. That is the reason to compare them, not a flaw in the comparison.

The five providers

OpenAI

GPT‑image‑1.5. A dependable general-purpose generator with a clear, published price for every size and quality Swurl offers.

Google

Gemini's image generation, reached through Google's Interactions API.

xAI

Grok Imagine, xAI's image model, at a flat rate regardless of size.

FLUX (Black Forest Labs)

flux-pro-1.1. Submitted and polled asynchronously behind the scenes; you just wait a moment longer for the result.

Stability AI

Stable Image Core for standard quality, Stable Image Ultra for HD — two distinct models, not one model at two settings.

Review before you use oneGenerated images can be low-quality, unexpected, or occasionally declined outright under a provider's own safety rules. Review anything a provider returns before you publish, print, or rely on it, the same way you would review any AI output — see the response policy for how to report an image that should not have been produced.

Pricing follows the same published, per-provider rates as everything else Swurl meters — see the pricing page for how credits work across every tool, or the rest of the tools overview for what else is in the workspace. Not signed in yet? The demo workspace shows Image Studio on sample output with no account and no credits spent.

Prompts and generated images are handled the same way as everything else you send through Swurl — see the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for what that means, and the documentation for how the rest of the workspace fits together.
